New tour datesFriday 25th November 2011 Eddi is performing at Hogmanay at Stirling Castle. She also joins a host of international musicians in the Transatlantic Sessions gigs in Glasgow and on tour. Her annual Irish tour and bi-annual Australian tour dates have all just been added to the 'One the Road' section of the website. Ian Carr will be joining Eddi, Alan and Boo for the Australian dates.

Alan Kelly Gang with Eddi Reader in IrelandWednesday 3rd August 2011 Since 2005 Alan has toured the world as part of the Eddi Reader Band and recorded on her last four albums. His friendship with Eddi first resulted in a beautiful collaboration on a song penned by John Douglas. The collaborative work I Hung My Harp Upon The Willows appears on Alan's 2009 album, After The Morning which was named as one of the top ten musical highs of 2009 by the Irish Times who described it as a humdinger of a collection. |

Eddi portrait by broad daylight now in the National Portrait Gallery in LondonThursday 7th April 2011 A portrait of Eddi by Edinburgh based broad daylight photographers Tricia Malley and Ross Gillespie has been purchased by the National Portrait Gallery in London. It is to be part of their permanent collection. The portrait was taken as part of the 'as others see us' project produced for the Burns Anniversary Homecoming year. The book of the exhibition is available from broad daylight. Related links |

New live CD for sale - Live in JapanWednesday 15th December 2010 Live in Japan – new live CD - available to purchase now from the merch page. Recorded from the sound desk at Eddi's successful Japan shows in September of last year, and mastered and mixed by Mark Freegard in Glasgow, "Live in Japan" covers a broad spectrum of Eddi’s career highs, from Fairground Attraction all the way to the recent Love is the Way. The album closes with a Japanese children's song, Usagi, sung a cappella with the audience. Eddi is joined by regular band members Roy Dodds, John Douglas, Boo Hewerdine, Alan Kelly and Kevin McGuire. |
Thomas Dolby Oceanea's EPWednesday 15th December 2010 Eddi
dueted with Thomas on this EP. She
worked with him on his song Cruel in the 90s, and enjoyed revisiting that
